Frederick L. Kohnke

Frederick L. Kohnke,
Chief Executive Officer


Fred Kohnke joined Staffmark as President and Chief Executive Officer in February, 2001. Under his leadership, Staffmark has grown fourfold through a combination of development and execution of disciplined organic growth and acquisition strategies. Today, Staffmark is one of the top ten commercial staffing companies in the country with more than 300 locations nationwide. Prior to joining Staffmark, Fred held senior financial and general management positions in related industry leading service companies. He received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University, and M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University in Chicago, and is a Certified Public Accountant.


Lesa J. Francis

Lesa J. Francis,
President and Chief Operating Officer


Lesa Francis joined the company in 2006 as Chief Operating Officer with over 25 year of industry experience. In 2010 she was named President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Staffmark, Lesa most recently held the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development and Operations at Spherion. In that position, she had national responsibility for their $1.5 billion Staffing and Workforce Management business. Prior to her 14 years at Spherion, Lesa held various positions with Adia (now Adecco), from Branch Manager to Regional Vice President over her seven years with the company. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Management from Northwest Missouri State University.


William E. Aglinsky

William E. Aglinsky,
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer


Bill Aglinsky joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in October 2003. Previously, he spent 16 years with Cleveland-based Management Recruiters International (MRI), a human resources solutions provider with over 1,200 offices in 26 countries. Most recently, Bill served as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of MRI. Prior to MRI, he held a number of senior financial management positions in industry and public accounting. Bill received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.


Kathryn S. Bernard

Kathryn S. Bernard,
Executive Vice President and General Counsel


Kathy Bernard joined the company as Executive Vice President and General Counsel in November 1996. In her 13-year tenure, Kathy designed the company's self-insured and self-administered workers' compensation program and developed related protocols and policies for employment practices, loss control, safety, litigation, drug testing, and background checking. She is active in state and national legislative efforts that affect the staffing industry and has written numerous articles for specialty publications on workers' compensation issues and employee leasing. Previously she was the regional vice president of workers' compensation, unemployment and employment practices for a national insurance brokerage. Kathy received her B.A. degree from the University of Cincinnati, and her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.


Suzanne M. Perry

Suzanne M. Perry,
Senior Vice President, Human Resources


Suzanne Perry joined the company in March 2001. She has over 17 years experience in human resources management, specializing in employee relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment, selection, and legal compliance. Prior to joining the company, Suzanne held senior human resources positions, both domestic and abroad, at various Fortune 500 companies. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources and received her professional certification in 1994. Suzanne received her B.S. degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University, and her M.B.A. in Business from Thomas More College.
