Staffmark Group is committed to ensuring its communications are accessible to those with special needs and strives to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Our website meets the requirements of W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to an intermediate level that is AA compliant.

Links

Where possible, links describe the target page and make sense when taken out of context. The site allows browsers such as JAWS, Home Page Reader, Lynx, and Opera to extract the links on a page, allowing you to browse them separately from the page.

PDFs

The number of PDFs on the site has been kept to a minimum. Adobe has recently updated its free reader to include screen reading functionality.

Colour

Good contrast between foreground and background colors is kept throughout the site. The majority of content appears in black on white background. Color is never used as a single method of differentiating content.

Layout

The site is free of frames and uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. Style sheets use relative font sizes. Users have the option to view the site with a range of font sizes.

Language

Our content is written to be as clear and easy to understand as possible.

Conformance status

Using the Accessibility and Language Toolbar

Staffmark Group hosts the Recite Me Web Accessibility and Language Toolbar on our websites.

Recite Me is an innovative cloud-based software that lets visitors view and use our website in a way that works best for them.

We’ve added the Recite Me web accessibility and language toolbar to our website to make it accessible and inclusive for as many people as possible.

It helps the one in four people in the US who have a disability, including those with common conditions like sight loss and dyslexia, access our website in the way that suits them best.

It also meets the needs of one in five people in the US who speak a language other than English at home, by translating our web content into over 100 different languages.

How do I access the Recite Me toolbar?

You can open the Recite Me language and accessibility toolbar by clicking on the [insert description of button] button in the top right corner of the page. This button now appears in the the bottom right side on every page of our website. After you click on white button with a sound and font size icons, the Recite Me toolbar opens and displays a range of different options for customizing the way the website looks and ways you can interact with the content.
