National Hispanic Heritage Month at Staffmark Group
National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed each year in the United States beginning on September 15, celebrates U.S. Latinos—their culture, history, and contributions. First established by Congress in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week, it was expanded to a month-long celebration in 1988. The observance begins in mid-September to align with the independence days of several Latin American nations: Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica all celebrate on September 15, followed by Mexico on September 16, Chile on September 18, and Belize on September 21.
Juneteenth at Staffmark Group: Honoring Freedom, Uplifting Community
Since its designation as a federal holiday in 2021, Juneteenth has gained more widespread recognition, but for many of us, it has always been sacred.
