Looking for a part-time office opportunity to build your administrative experience? Staffmark is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant in Hammond, LA. This role supports daily office operations and is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills and a customer-focused attitude.

 

Pay: $12.00 per hour

 

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Part-Time)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and document creation
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors in a professional manner
  • Sort and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and faxes
  • Maintain both physical and digital files and documentation
  • Use standard office equipment such as copiers, printers, and fax machines

 

Requirements & Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Experience with data entry and basic document management
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Clear communication and a helpful, team-oriented attitude
  • Reliable and able to work independently
  • 1–2 years of administrative experience preferred
