Staffmark is hiring a Staff Accountant for a global offshore engineering company located in Broussard, LA. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and ready to advance your accounting career, this is a great opportunity to join a respected, innovative organization serving the energy industry.
Pay: $65,000–$75,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Record journal entries and maintain general ledgers
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with balance sheets, income statements, and month-end closings
- Support payroll review, expense audits, and reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and support GAAP compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
