Job Description:
Staffmark is hiring Mechanical Assemblers to join a leading packaging solutions manufacturer in Alexandria, MN. Whether you’re looking to grow your skills or take your career to the next level, this is a great opportunity to join a reliable, supportive team in a hands-on role.
Pay:
- 1st Shift: $17.50–$21.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: $20.13–$24.15/hour (includes shift differential)
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday | 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM (4-day workweek!)
What You’ll Do:
- Assemble mechanical parts using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Pull necessary materials and supplies for each job
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
What You’ll Bring:
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude or hands-on assembly experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
