Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Shift: 9:30 pm – 7:30 am (train 7:30 am – 5:30 pm)

As a Bench Setter Operator in Honea Path, you’ll be part of the team that keeps production flowing. You’ll load materials, check quality, and help meet daily goals. Bring a good attitude and a strong work ethic, and let Staffmark handle the rest.

The Must-Haves
High school diploma or GED required.
An acceptable level of mathematics.
Requires heavy lifting and material handling.
Annual Eye Exam required.

Keep Production Rolling

• Conducts inspections according to government requirements, Timken specifications, and customer specifications.
• Inspects visually for surface defects and dimensionally for compliance with specifications using a variety of gauging equipment and masters.
• Performs offline inspections using Computerized Profile Gauge, Rib Optical gauge, and Roundness Concentricity Flatness gauge.
• Measures parts to print per the applicable prints/Work Instructions. Pass or hold product for disposition.
• Plans and performs gauge set-ups as required.
• Notifies setter operator or supervisor of variations from tolerances.
• Etch’s product to determine the existence of grinding injury.
• Polishes materials to remove etch stain according to specified finish requirements.
• Operates polishing and hand grinders.
• Performs dock audits.
