Salary: $70,000.00 per year
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Must provide own tools
  • Working knowledge of injection molding equipment, mold handling, and mold storage procedures
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools
  • Strong understanding of quality control and inspection processes
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety procedures and regulations
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on the design and development of new molds
  • Perform mold trials, samplings, and pilot production runs
  • Develop, optimize, and document injection molding processes for new tooling
  • Implement and document Scientific Molding practices and process improvements
  • Provide feedback to engineering regarding tooling performance and mold conditions
  • Establish labor requirements and production standards for new molds
  • Recommend automation and auxiliary equipment to improve efficiency and reduce labor costs
  • Maintain molding process documentation, machine specifications, and technical records
  • Lead training initiatives and provide technical support for molding operations
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts related to molding processes, quality, and productivity
