Staffmark Group Partners with Braven to Support Workforce Readiness for Underrepresented Students

Staffmark Group, a leader in workforce solutions and part of RGF Staffing, is proud to partner with Braven, an organization dedicated to equipping underrepresented college students with the skills and confidence needed to launch successful careers. This collaboration supports RGF Staffing’s global RGF Connect initiative, which aims to connect 1.5 million individuals facing employment barriers to meaningful jobs by 2030.

Through this partnership, Staffmark Group is helping students from diverse backgrounds bridge the gap between education and career opportunities. In addition to supporting Braven’s workforce readiness training, Staffmark’s Black Alliance Business Resource Group has donated $4,000 to further Braven’s mission.

“As a young adult, navigating college was challenging, but finding a job that aligned with both my degree and my passion was like climbing Mount Everest in flip-flops. I have always been deeply committed to giving back to college students facing similar challenges as they transition into their careers. That passion made partnering with HBCUs through Braven an easy decision. By building strong relationships with these institutions, we can bridge the gap between education and opportunity—connecting top-tier talent with the right career paths while driving both business success and community impact,” said Alicia West, Sales Support Manager, Total Talent Solutions / Chair of the Black Alliance.

The response from Staffmark employees has exceeded expectations, with a high level of participation in Braven’s mock interview program.

“Staffmark Group is proving its mission of being ‘the heart between people and jobs,’” said Takiya Tillman, Director of Workforce Strategy at Spelman College. “Both the donation and the number of individuals who signed up for the mock interviews to assist our students far exceeded our expectations, and we are grateful and thankful for their support.”

Through partnerships like this, Staffmark Group and RGF Staffing continue to break down employment barriers, connect talent with opportunity, and drive meaningful change in the workforce.
