Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.

Experience Requirements
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices.

Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.

What You Will Do

As a Maintenance Mechanic you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.

A Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment and systems that keep business operations running efficiently. This role combines mechanical knowledge, technical problem-solving, and hands-on repair skills to support reliable production and facility performance.

Successful Maintenance Mechanic candidates understand how mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems work together to support daily operations. They use technical knowledge, diagnostic skills, and preventative maintenance practices to identify issues before they become major problems and to restore equipment when repairs are needed.
