Public Sector Sales Dev Rep

Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Sales Development Representative for our Public Sector team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this position is responsibility for initiating outbound sales activity for public sector to generate qualified leads for assigned field or national sales staff. This role is accountable for executing prospecting activities, managing marketing cadences, capturing lead intelligence, and supporting the overall sales pursuit process. The position requires daily use of the Salesforce for Bullhorn CRM to document all activities and outcomes.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calling to assigned prospect lists to qualify leads for field sales staff.
  • Utilize approved scripts and messaging to secure meetings and discovery calls for field sales staff.
  • Execute structured multi-channel prospecting cadences, including phone, email, and other approved outreach methods.
  • Gather, document, and communicate relevant prospect intelligence (hiring needs, decision-maker information, competitive insights, etc.) to assist in sales pursuit strategy.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established activity and performance goals, including daily/weekly dials, connects, meetings set, and conversion metrics.
  • Maintain accurate prospect and activity records in the Salesforce for Bullhorn CRM in compliance with company data standards.
  • Collaborate with assigned field sales staff to ensure effective handoff of qualified opportunities.
  • Participate in team meetings, sales pipeline reviews, and ongoing skills development.
