• High school diploma or GED preferred

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
• Quality inspection or packaging experience is a plus

• Inspect flexible packaging products for quality and defects
• Assist with production line operations while maintaining productivity standards
• Load plastic materials onto machines using a hoist
• Monitor machine performance and ensure proper operation
• Inspect finished bags and packaging inserts for accuracy and quality
• Maintain production and inspection records
• Assist the Shift Supervisor with daily production activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
• Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.
• Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Converting Day Shift.

• Lift up to 30 pounds as needed
• Stand for the duration of 10-hour shifts
• Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

What You Will Do

As a Converting Day Shift you will inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. You will use precision measuring equipment, document inspection results, identify nonconforming materials, support corrective actions, and help maintain quality records while promoting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
