Job Duties
- Assemble custom control panels, wiring harnesses, knockout boxes, and electrical subassemblies
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and build documentation to complete assemblies accurately
- Install, label, terminate, and troubleshoot electrical wiring and components
- Use measuring and testing equipment, including multimeters and voltmeters, to verify quality and functionality
- Run conduit, air lines, and lubrication lines according to specifications
- Perform machine shakedowns, teardown activities, punch-list completion, and final testing
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and prepare equipment for customer acceptance
- Follow all electrical safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures
- Support production needs and perform additional duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical training in electrical assembly, industrial maintenance, electronics, or related field preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams is required
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in control panel assembly, electrical assembly, industrial wiring, or manufacturing preferred
- Experience using hand and power tools, including wire cutters, conduit benders, and electrical testing equipment
- Knowledge of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems
- Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting, machine startup, and quality verification processes
- Experience following lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety procedures preferred
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and components as required
- Manual dexterity needed to assemble, wire, and test electrical components
- Ability to work safely around electrical equipment and manufacturing machinery
