Job Duties

• Responsible for moving 50-60 trailers per night.
• Position is focused on yard driving and trailer movement and is not a switcher position.
• Once trailers are moved, they generally remain in place.
• Drivers may occasionally be asked to move box trucks between dock doors.

• Minimum 1 year of relevant yard driving or trailer-moving experience required.
• Must be comfortable backing, spotting, and maneuvering trailers in tight yard and dock areas.

What You Will Do

As a Yard Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.
