Job Duties:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Operate the cash register and process purchases accurately
• Accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment
• Assist customers with basic questions about products, pricing, and store policies
• Handle returns and exchanges according to store procedures
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked
• Bag merchandise and assist customers as needed
• Answer phones and direct customer questions appropriately
• Help with stocking, pricing, or straightening merchandise when needed
• Work as part of the store team to provide a positive customer experience

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier or retail experience is helpful but not required
• Friendly and comfortable working with the public
• Basic math and computer skills
• Dependable with good attendance
• Able to handle money accurately
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.
