What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a 26′ box truck with liftgate on local delivery routes.
• Transport palletized boxes and corrugated materials to customer locations.
• Perform live unload deliveries and pallet drop deliveries as scheduled.
• Use a pallet jack to move freight safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and required documentation accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route progress, delivery updates, and any issues.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety standards.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Experience operating a 26′ box truck in a delivery environment preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and delivery procedures.
• Experience with customer deliveries, live unloads, and palletized freight.
• Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations, at-fault accidents, or a combination of both within the past 3 years.
• No DUI, reckless driving, or other serious driving violations within the past 5 years.
• Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and reliable attendance

• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Valid Class B CDL.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration completed.
• Ability to safely operate a box truck with a liftgate.
• Comfortable performing light-touch freight deliveries using a pallet jack.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.

What You Will Do

As a Class B Box Truck Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while safely operating a vehicle.
• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, move, or secure freight and materials when required by the assignment.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and work safely in varying weather and road conditions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous professional driving, delivery, transportation, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles, delivery trucks, box trucks, or tractor-trailers is beneficial depending on the assignment.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs), GPS navigation, routing software, or transportation documentation is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and a commitment to safety are well positioned for success as a Class B Box Truck Driver.
