Staffmark is hiring an experienced Non-CDL Stakebed Truck Driver for a local delivery position in Santa Fe Springs, CA! We’re looking for a dependable, safety-minded driver with hands-on stakebed truck experience who knows how to properly secure loads using straps and is comfortable assisting with unloading at customer locations and job sites.

This position offers an early morning start between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM, approximately 8-hour shifts, and potential overtime. The truck is equipped with an automatic transmission. • Safely operate a non-CDL stakebed truck with automatic transmission to deliver industrial pipe, fittings, and related materials.
• Properly load, position, and secure materials using straps and appropriate load securement techniques.
• Inspect loads before departure to ensure materials are safely secured for transportation.
• Complete local deliveries to customer locations, commercial facilities, and construction job sites.
• Assist customers with offloading materials at delivery locations and job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any safety or mechanical concerns.
• Follow all traffic laws, company safety policies, and applicable transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.
• Assist with additional delivery-related duties as assigned.

Driving Requirements

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable stakebed truck driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Experience properly securing loads using straps and appropriate cargo securement methods.
• Ability to safely operate a non-CDL stakebed truck with automatic transmission.
• No more than a combined total of 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 36 months.
• No DUI/DWI history, subject to applicable law and company screening requirements.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable performing physical work and assisting with offloading materials.
• Strong safety awareness, dependability, and good customer service skills.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screening.
• Ability to climb in and out of the truck throughout the workday.
• Ability to bend, reach, stand, walk, and perform physical activities associated with loading, securing, and offloading materials.
• Comfortable working outdoors at customer locations and job sites in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely handle cargo straps and related load securement equipment.
