Schedule: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (tentatively)

Job Duties- Identify, sort, and organize different types and sizes of lumber.
- Read and use a tape measure accurately to fulfill customer orders.
- Pull, stage, and prepare lumber orders for customers and deliveries.
- Stack, load, unload, and move lumber and building materials throughout the yard.
- Assist customers with product selection and order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and yard operations guidelines.
- Support general yard, warehouse, and inventory activities as assigned.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
- Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.
- Entry-level position; training provided.
- No formal education required.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to identify different types and sizes of lumber.
- Basic math and measurement skills preferred.
- Previous experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, construction, landscaping, material handling, or order picking environment is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced outdoor setting.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely handle and move lumber and building materials.
- Must wear steel-toed boots and follow all safety requirements.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.

As a Lumber Yard Associate you will perform responsibilities that support the daily operations of your assigned employer while following established procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
