Job Duties- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy and product integrity throughout the facility.
- Research inventory discrepancies and perform necessary inventory adjustments.
- Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and reconciliations.
- Track and report non-conforming, aged, and damaged inventory.
- Ensure proper product identification, labeling, and inventory documentation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy metrics and prepare inventory reports.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to improve inventory control processes.
- Train employees on inventory procedures and best practices.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move tools, materials, and equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and assist with shipping and receiving activities.
- Use handheld power tools, steel stamps, and stencils as needed.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.
- 1-3 years of inventory control, warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts required; ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Experience using overhead cranes and handheld power tools preferred.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely load and unload trucks.
- Ability to frequently lift and move materials as required.
- Must be able to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment daily.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and shop environment.

What You Will Do
As a Inventory Coordinator you will perform responsibilities that support the daily operations of your assigned employer while following established procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements. Duties may include operating equipment, working with customers, handling materials, preparing documentation, supporting administrative activities, using technology, collaborating with team members, or completing other responsibilities appropriate to the position. Successful Inventory Coordinator professionals demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality work while contributing to organizational success.
- Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.
- Maintaining product identification and location.
- Researching inventory discrepancies and making necessary corrections.
- Managing the inventory control function at the site.
- Responsible for overseeing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
- Tracking, and reporting non-conforming product.
- Resolving inventory problems in a timely manner.
- Documenting and controlling aged & damaged product.
- Ensuring all labeling requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Maintaining Inventory Accuracy Metrics and associated reports for management (and client as appropriate).
- Coordinate and Integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
- Regularly training site staff in proper inventory control techniques and practices.
- Must be able to pass the forklift certification test and drive a forklift on a daily basis. load and unload trucks move tools and assets within shop using overhead Crain and forklift Use handheld power tools Use Steel -stamps and Stencils
