Job Duties

• Perform general labor and material-handling duties throughout the facility.
• Lift, move, and transport materials, equipment, and products.
• Support assembly, disassembly, and packaging operations.
• Complete required production and packaging paperwork.
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and operating procedures.
• Maintain established production and quality standards.
• Keep assigned work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Operate a 3-ton forklift when properly licensed and authorized.
• Use basic measuring tools, including rulers and digital calipers.
• Follow all safety requirements and wear required PPE.
• Perform repetitive tasks and continual heavy lifting.
• Assist with additional production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, foundry, general labor, or production experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand production schedules, work instructions, procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift with required licensing.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and follow established quality procedures.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification and experience operating a 3-ton forklift.
• Knowledge of general plant operations, manufacturing processes, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new tasks quickly.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to perform continuous lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in hot, humid, noisy manufacturing environments around moving machinery.
• Must be able to wear required PPE and follow all safety regulations and company policies.
