Schedule: 1st shift – 5 am – 3:30 pm

Job Duties

• Laminate and assemble carbon-fiber aircraft components
• Perform bonding and post-production finishing
• File, sand, grind, clean, cut, deburr, and trim materials
• Inspect components for quality and accuracy
• Follow production specifications and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to assemble products or components according to work instructions and production standards.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or production equipment as required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect completed work for quality.
• Ability to maintain productivity while performing repetitive assembly tasks.
• Dependable attendance, teamwork, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Composite manufacturing/lamination experience highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial.
• Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Lamination Technician.
• Experience with Carbon Pre-Preg, Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, Fiberglass and/or hand layup preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment.
• Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.
• Must be comfortable working around fumes/airborne particles and loud noise
