Job Duties

• Operate metal fabrication equipment including cutoff saws, shears, press brakes, rolls, presses, punch machines, forming machines, and spinning machines
• Cut, shape, bend, and form metal plates, sheet metal, tubes, and structural components to customer specifications
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and job specifications to determine machine settings and material requirements
• Set up machines by positioning stops, guides, and tooling according to measurements, templates, and production specifications
• Measure and verify dimensions using scales, rulers, gauges, and other measuring tools
• Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cuts, bends, and forming operations
• Inspect finished products to confirm compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Load, unload, and move materials safely throughout the production process
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance or repair needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures

What You Will Do

As a Machine Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

A Machine Operator contributes to manufacturing by operating machinery that supports efficient production of quality products. This position requires mechanical ability, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safe operating practices.

The Machine Operator supports manufacturing through equipment monitoring, quality inspections, routine adjustments, and adherence to production procedures while maintaining workplace safety and operational efficiency.
