Requirements: 

• Previous CNC machine operator or CNC machining experience required.
• Experience operating Mazak CNC lathes or machining centers preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to perform machine setups, tooling changes, and basic machine adjustments.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Duties:

• Operate Mazak CNC lathes and machining centers to produce precision parts.
• Load and unload materials and perform machine setups, tooling, and fixture changes.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Monitor machine performance, make approved offsets, and replace worn tooling.
• Complete production documentation and report quality or equipment issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.

What You Will Do

As a CNC Operator you will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications. You will verify machine setups, inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain tooling, and support quality and production goals while following established safety and manufacturing procedures.

The CNC Operator helps transform engineering designs into finished precision components using CNC machining technology. This position requires mechanical aptitude, technical skill, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Successful CNC Operator professionals understand machining processes, dimensional tolerances, tooling selection, and inspection procedures while maintaining efficient production and quality standards. Strong analytical thinking supports effective troubleshooting and process improvement.
