Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule | 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of tools used by Mold Technicians
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Above-average math skills
  • Ability to analyze problems and make decisions in time-sensitive situations
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to quickly learn production processes and equipment
  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • Ability to climb onto production equipment and work at elevated heights using lifts
  • Ability to frequently use hand tools and perform physically demanding work
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Willingness to work mandatory overtime as business needs require

Job Duties

  • Prepare, install, monitor, and change production molds on manufacturing lines
  • Verify molds have completed preventative maintenance before installation
  • Inspect molds, inserts, clamps, hydraulic lines, air lines, and related components before installation
  • Clean production platens and prepare equipment for mold changes
  • Monitor production equipment and respond to machine alarms to troubleshoot issues
  • Assist with production line startups and shutdowns
  • Perform material and color changeovers while ensuring proper line clearances
  • Verify materials are labeled, stored, and covered properly
  • Repair minor hydraulic issues and oil leaks as needed
  • Assist with automation repairs, IML changeovers, and basic equipment maintenance
  • Support production staff with packaging and material handling when needed
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the shift
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), SQF food safety requirements, and company safety policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
