Location: Springfield, OH
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 5 AM-3:30 PM

Job Duties
- Operate production machinery or other production-related functions.
- Set up jobs based on the daily production schedule by utilizing the set-up sheets in Plex; report any needed changes to the shift supervisor.
- Follow packaging instructions as provided in Plex.
- Inspect for quality of product as required.
- Maintain and enter information into Plex.
- Report any problems with fixtures, samples, or instructions to the quality department.
- Communicate to supervisors and managers any problems, issues, or concerns with press, feed line, tooling, or any auxiliary equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Return tools to the designated tooling shadow boards.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
- Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
- Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
- Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
- Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Press Operator.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses required while performing duties in production areas.

What You Will Do
As a Press Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

- Communicate to supervisors and managers any problems, issues, or concerns with press, feed line, tooling or any auxiliary equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Return tools to the designated tooling shadow boards.
- Perform duties in a safe manner with attention to quality.
- Ensure press keys are not left in controls and PPE requirements are adhered to at all times.
A Press Operator helps produce quality products through the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment. This role requires strong work habits, mechanical ability, and a commitment to maintaining production and quality standards.
