Now hiring for a Data Entry Specialist
Location: El Cajon, CA
Pay Rate: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

This role ensures high-volume customer orders and related system updates are entered accurately and efficiently, supporting a consistent and reliable customer experience. With a primary focus on transactional accuracy and data integrity, the Data Entry Specialist helps maintain clean, dependable system records that support smooth order processing. This role also provides backup support to the Customer Service team as needed.

Job Duties

  • Enter and manage customer orders accurately in ERP and CRM systems
  • Process orders from multiple portals with strong attention to detail
  • Review orders for completeness, correct pricing, shipping instructions, and special requirements

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree, business coursework, or administrative support training preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • At least one year of administrative, office support, receptionist, or clerical experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common office software.
  • Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting multiple departments or executive staff is beneficial.
  • Experience with scheduling, document preparation, recordkeeping, and office coordination is preferred.
  • Familiarity with business software, office equipment, and data entry systems is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and professionalism are well positioned for success as a Data Entry Specialist.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while performing office tasks.
  • Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and visitors.
