Location: Fridley, MN
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift 2nd Shift Weekend Shift (36 hours worked, paid for 40)

Job Duties
- Set up and operate press brakes to form sheet metal components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings
- Perform machine adjustments, tooling changes, and routine setups as production requirements change
- Operate additional fabrication equipment including lasers, shears, deburring machines, notchers, and turret punch machines
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy
- Complete basic shop math and measurements required for fabrication processes
- Monitor equipment performance and maintain quality standards throughout production
- Work safely and follow all company safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical training in metal fabrication, machining, manufacturing, or blueprint reading is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- Ability to safely operate press brake equipment and related fabrication machinery.
- Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
- Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, angle gauges, or micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality.
- Commitment to workplace safety, dependable attendance, and quality workmanship.
- Experience performing machine setups and changeovers
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous press brake, fabrication, sheet metal, manufacturing, or machine operation experience is preferred.
- Experience setting up tooling, making machine adjustments, or interpreting engineering drawings is beneficial.
- Knowledge of precision measurement, quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or preventative maintenance is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork are well positioned for success as a Press Break Setup Operator.
- Experience with Amada, Cincinnati, or similar press brake equipment
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive manufacturing tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and handle sheet metal, materials, or finished parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to safely load materials, operate machinery, and inspect finished products.
- Ability to safely work around industrial equipment while following established manufacturing safety procedures.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
