Now hiring for a Quality Inspector
Location: Harrodsburg, KY
Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Friday – Sunday | 5 PM – 5 AM

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience Requirements

  • 6 months of experience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specifications.
  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents.
  • Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Job Duties
  • Inspect, test, sort, and rework automotive components
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using gauges and measuring equipment
  • Complete quality documentation and inspection records
  • Identify and document defective materials
  • Use hand tools and testing equipment as needed
  • Follow safety, quality, and work instructions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
  • Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.
  • Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Quality Inspector.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
