Now hiring for a Regional Class A CDL Driver – Direct Hire
Location: Sidney, OH
Pay Rate: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour (Estimated equivalent earnings)

  • Mileage pay
  • $25 per stop (excluding first and last stop)
  • Layover pay:
  • $45/night for routes under 1,000 round-trip miles
  • $75/night for routes over 1,000 round-trip miles
  • Weekly pay: Average 2,400-2,800 miles per week with average gross earnings of $1,600-$1,800 per week

Typical Schedule:

  • Leave one day, overnight in a sleeper truck, return the following day, and be home that evening
  • Repeat throughout the work week
  • Some routes may allow same-day return depending on distance and available hours
  • Start and end times vary based on dispatch and route assignments

Drivers operate automatic Volvo sleeper tractors and 53′ reefer trailers delivering fresh food products throughout the region. Job Duties

  • Operate a CDL A tractor-trailer
  • Reefer (refrigerated trailer)
  • Volvo automatic sleeper tractor
  • 53′ reefer trailers
  • Regional – Frequent overnight travel
  • Deliver fresh food products/refrigerated produce
  • Light touch freight
  • Drivers may occasionally need to move a box or pallet and may have opportunities to unload freight themselves for additional compensation
  • Drivers may occasionally assist with freight handling
  • Occasional movement of boxes or pallets may be required
  • Ability to handle freight when necessary to facilitate deliveries
Driving Requirements
  • 22+ years of age
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • DOT Medical Card
  • FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
  • 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
  • No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
  • No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
  • Reefer experience preferred
  • Ability to operate sleeper tractors safely and efficiently
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and overnight routes
  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to on-time deliveries

What You Will Do

As a Regional Class A CDL Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

The Regional Class A CDL Driver is responsible for operating vehicles safely while transporting products and materials according to established schedules and delivery requirements. This position requires sound judgment, strong driving skills, and a commitment to protecting people, cargo, and equipment.

Successful Regional Class A CDL Driver candidates understand the importance of vehicle inspections, transportation safety, and maintaining accurate records throughout the delivery process.
