Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Ability to safely use common cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning products.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety.
  • Ability to work independently while following cleaning schedules and established procedures.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Dependable work habits and a commitment to maintaining clean, professional facilities.
  • Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and safety procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Job Duties

  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.
  • Clean and sanitize production areas and common areas.
  • Clean and maintain restrooms and breakrooms.
  • Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility.
  • Clean up spills and debris promptly.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, doors, and other fixtures.
  • Restock restroom and janitorial supplies.
  • Safely use cleaning chemicals and janitorial equipment.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
  • Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience cleaning commercial, industrial, office, healthcare, educational, or manufacturing facilities is preferred.
  • Experience operating floor care equipment, buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and pride in their work are well positioned for success as a Janitor.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.
