Job Duties
- Design, prototype, and test fluid system components and accessories
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks with proper GD&T
- Conduct engineering analysis, tolerance stack-ups, and validation testing
- Support manufacturing and shop-floor operations to ensure on-time delivery
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues
- Maintain BOMs, part numbers, and engineering documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, quality, and production teams
- Provide technical support, product selection, and application guidance
- Assist with certifications and regulatory compliance (UL, CSA, CE, ATEX)
- Drive continuous improvement for manufacturability, reliability, and cost
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of design engineering experience in fluid systems or pumps
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, GD&T, and tolerance analysis
- Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, machine design, and stress analysis
- Experience with CNC machining, metals, plastics, and manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Hands-on engineering mindset with R&D experience
- Effective communication and teamwork
Preferred
- Experience with FEA, pressure vessel design (ASME), or fluid control systems
- Background in pump manufacturing or industrial equipment
