Warehouse Associate
Location: Geismar, LA
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6 AM – 3 PM

Education Requirements- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, shipping documents, safety procedures, and warehouse instructions.
- Basic computer skills required, including data entry and inventory tracking systems.
- At least 1 year of warehouse, shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, or inventory experience preferred.
- Previous forklift, pallet jack, or cherry picker experience is a plus; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify orders and shipments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing tasks independently.
- Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software is beneficial.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment that may be hot during summer months.
- Steel-toe shoes required; additional PPE provided by the company.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work around moving machinery.
- Pick, pack, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment while maintaining high accuracy standards.
- Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming inventory and materials.
- Cross-check orders, shipping documents, and inventory records to ensure accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and warehouse organization.
- Enter and maintain accurate inventory and shipment data in warehouse systems.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a one-hour unpaid lunch; occasional overtime required.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity with potential pay increase upon permanent hire and participation in an on-call weekend rotation after conversion.
