Location: Alexandria, MN
Pay Rate: $20.50 – $30.00 per hour
Schedule: 5 AM – 5 PM | Friday – Sunday

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or 2+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and eager to learn new fabrication methods.
  • Excellent work history with a team-oriented, positive attitude.

Job Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, machine drawings, and sketches to determine fabrication requirements.
  • Fabricate sheet metal parts using efficient methods, ensuring accuracy, quality, and appearance meet company standards.
  • Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, punches, and shears.
  • Select appropriate fabrication processes and use various tools and machines safely and effectively.
  • Maintain work area per 5S standards, report equipment maintenance needs, and follow all safety policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Sheet Metal Fabricator.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
