Location: Scott, LA
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant recruiting, staffing, or HR training is a plus.
Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, personnel administration, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
  • Experience reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Experience with payroll processing, employee records management, or HR administration is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, Canva, and online recruiting tools preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and relationship-building skills.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel locally and attend job fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach activities as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties
  • Review resumes and identify qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Communicate with applicants regarding job opportunities, interviews, hiring steps, and onboarding requirements.
  • Coordinate candidate assessments, interviews, pre-employment screening, and placement activities.
  • Process payroll changes, personnel transactions, and maintain accurate employee and candidate records.
  • Create recruiting graphics, job advertisements, and employment marketing content using Canva and social media platforms.
  • Manage and update job postings across recruiting channels and identify new candidate sourcing strategies.
  • Attend job fairs, recruiting events, and community functions to promote employment opportunities and build talent pipelines.
  • Partner with Account Managers and operational leaders to understand staffing needs and support workforce planning.

What You Will Do

As a Production Assistant you will provide administrative support by coordinating schedules, maintaining records, preparing documents, answering communications, organizing files, and assisting coworkers with daily operational needs. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

The Production Assistant supports the flow of information, communication, and coordination within a professional office setting. This role requires strong organization, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to provide dependable support across a variety of administrative needs.

Successful Production Assistant candidates are comfortable preparing documents, maintaining files, scheduling activities, answering questions, and helping teams stay aligned. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to adjust as priorities change throughout the day.
