Location: Spring Grove, IL
$28.00 – $30.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3 PM

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training in industrial maintenance, electronics, or a related field is a plus
Experience Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting industrial equipment, motors, controllers, and automation systems
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Clean driving record required
Job Duties
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic production equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities in computerized systems
  • Install, start up, and shut down equipment while following OSHA and company safety standards
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, specifications, and technical data to diagnose equipment issues
  • Create and modify preventive maintenance procedures and logs
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate repairs with outside contractors
  • Identify opportunities to improve tooling, equipment performance, cleanliness, and production efficiency
  • Perform minor facility maintenance and support manufacturing operations as needed
  • Work closely with operators and production personnel to resolve equipment issues quickly and safely

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes required
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.

What You Will Do

As a Maintenance Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations.
