Now hiring for an Assembler
Location: Springfield, OH
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: 2:30 PM – 11 PM | Monday – Friday

Job Duties
  • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production specifications to ensure accurate builds
  • Assist with general shop duties, including material handling and preparation of parts
  • Use hand tools and basic measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks
  • Support machining operations as needed, including mill and lathe-related processes (if experienced)
  • Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Follow all safety procedures and company manufacturing standards

Requirements
  • Manufacturing or shop experience required
  • Mill and/or lathe experience strongly preferred (huge plus)
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

What You Will Do

As an Assembler you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.

The Assembler supports successful manufacturing operations by assembling products that meet quality, safety, and production standards. This role requires technical skill, organizational ability, and careful attention to detail throughout every stage of assembly.

Successful Assembler candidates understand assembly procedures, blueprint interpretation, quality inspection, and safe tool operation while maintaining efficient workflows and consistent workmanship.
