Education Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant EHS experience may be considered
- Minimum 5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, environmental compliance, and workplace safety regulations
- Experience managing safety programs, environmental permitting, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory audits
- Proven ability to conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
- Strong reporting, data analysis, communication, and project management skills
- Regularly stand, walk, communicate, and work throughout a manufacturing facility
- Frequently use hands, reach, and perform inspections in production areas
- Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment while maintaining awareness of surroundings
- Visual ability to perform inspections, audits, and identify workplace hazards
- Implement and maintain workplace safety, environmental, and sustainability programs
- Support ISO 14001 environmental management initiatives where applicable
- Conduct EHS training and promote a strong safety culture
- Maintain OSHA logs, compliance records, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Manage environmental compliance activities, including hazardous waste, air emissions, water programs, and permitting
- Partner with regulatory agencies and external consultants to ensure compliance
- Perform facility safety and environmental audits and implement corrective actions
- Investigate workplace incidents using root cause analysis methodologies
- Manage workers’ compensation processes and injury prevention efforts
- Lead EHS-related capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to improve safety, compliance, and operational performance
