Job Duties
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, transport, stack and organize materials
- Inspect equipment before each use to confirm safe operating condition
- Replenish inventory locations to support ongoing warehouse operations
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed
- Verify product movement and maintain inventory accuracy
- Follow established procedures for safe, efficient material handling
- Collaborate with team members to support production, shipping and receiving activities
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.
Required Experience
- Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift
- Experience loading and unloading trailers
- Proficient in order picking using an RF scanner
- Knowledge of operating a shrink wrap machine and using strapping equipment
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet productivity goals
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
- Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
- Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
