This Class A CDL Driver position offers steady work, no-touch freight, and the opportunity to be home daily. You’ll operate dry van trailers, complete live unload and drop-and-hook deliveries, and play a key role in ensuring products arrive safely and on time. Job Duties- Operate a Class A CDL dry van truck to transport OEM automotive parts on local delivery routes.
- Safely drive and maneuver van trailers while following all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Complete local deliveries and pickups while maintaining on-time service.
- Perform drop-and-hook assignments and live unload deliveries as scheduled.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and required transportation records.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure efficient route completion.
- Follow all safety procedures while working around loading docks, trailers, and distribution facilities.
- Secure freight as required and verify load information before departure.
- Provide professional customer service while representing the company during deliveries.
- Valid CDL-A license
- DOT Medical Card
- FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
- 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
- No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
- No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
