- Operate 53′ dry van trailers on local and OTR routes
- Complete drop & hook assignments and trailer relay runs
- Transport freight to distribution centers and automotive manufacturing facilities
- Perform live unload deliveries as required
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and transportation documentation
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates and delivery status
- Ensure freight is transported safely and delivered on schedule
- No driver unloading required; all freight is no-touch freight
Driving Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- DOT Medical Card
- FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
- 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
- No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
- No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)

What You Will Do
As a Local Class A Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.
The Local Class A Driver is responsible for operating vehicles safely while transporting products and materials according to established schedules and delivery requirements. This position requires sound judgment, strong driving skills, and a commitment to protecting people, cargo, and equipment.
