What You Will Do

As a Production Supervisor you will lead daily production operations, assign work, coordinate staffing, monitor workflow, coach employees, and keep the shift moving without cutting corners on safety or quality. You will track production goals and performance, lead pre-shift meetings, troubleshoot operational problems, coordinate with maintenance, quality, warehouse, and leadership teams, maintain production records and shift reports, support employee training, and create a respectful workplace built around teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

A Production Supervisor is the person who turns a production plan into a productive shift. Working close to the floor, this leader coordinates people, equipment, materials, schedules, safety, and quality so the team can meet its goals without cutting corners.

Successful Production Supervisor professionals understand that leadership in manufacturing is active work. They watch the process, anticipate problems, coach employees, adjust priorities, communicate expectations, and step in when production begins falling behind. They lead by example while holding the crew accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.

This profession is ideal for experienced production professionals who are ready to step up, lead strong, and take responsibility for the performance of an entire shift.
