Location: Putnam, CT
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 6:50 AM – 3:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:50 PM – 7:00 AM

Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- No prior machine operating experience required
- Willingness to learn and complete a structured training program
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Tend and operate molding machines in a manufacturing environment
- Perform periodic quality inspections to ensure product standards are met
- Monitor machine cycles and identify quality concerns
- Remove molded parts and perform secondary finishing operations
- Trim excess material using hand tools, drills, cutting pliers, and deburring tools
- Follow job orders, work instructions, and production documentation
- Assist with drilling, tapping, reaming, and in-process inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Complete training program lasting approximately 3 months to 1 year
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
- Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Mold Machine Operator.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
