Shift: Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–3:30 PM

Looking for CNC Set Up Technician jobs in Sun Valley where dependable work keeps production moving? This opportunity lets you operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, and help produce consistent results in a safe, fast-paced production environment.
As a CNC Set-Up Technician, you’ll prepare CNC lathes and mills for production by installing tooling, setting machine parameters, and verifying setups to ensure quality and efficiency. You’ll work closely with production operators, troubleshoot setup issues, and help keep manufacturing operations running safely and smoothly.Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of CNC setup experience required
- Experience setting up CNC lathes and/or CNC mills
- Experience with both CNC lathes and mills preferred
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and production instructions
- Set up CNC machines for production operators
- Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine components
- Verify machine settings and tooling prior to production runs
- Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot setup and machine-related issues
- Follow production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a CNC Set Up Technician.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
