Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial.

• 3-5 years of aluminum TIG and MIG welding experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using measuring and inspection tools to verify quality standards
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance

• Perform TIG, MIG, and other welding processes based on project requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications
• Set up materials and components for welding projects
• Inspect finished welds and products to ensure quality standards are met
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and specifications
• Debur, grind, and finish welded components as needed
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor equipment repairs
• Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.

As a Welder you will prepare materials, set up welding equipment, perform MIG welding operations, inspect completed welds, read blueprints, verify measurements, and help fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications. You will maintain welding equipment, follow quality standards, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations while producing consistent, high-quality work.

The Welder helps transform raw materials into finished products through skilled MIG welding and metal fabrication techniques. This role combines craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to support efficient manufacturing.
