Pay Rate: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience Requirements
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with analytical or physical testing software preferred
  • Experience using laboratory or testing equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and root cause analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Job Duties
  • Monitor production quality and perform manufacturing floor audits
  • Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective and preventive actions
  • Test and report production samples, slitter samples, and recertification materials
  • Evaluate customer complaint materials and document findings
  • Prepare, cut, and process product samples for testing
  • Perform customer-specific testing, including Haze-Gard, FTIR, and QUV evaluations
  • Review, log, inspect, and store incoming raw materials
  • Maintain testing records and update testing procedures as needed
  • Ensure products meet established quality, reliability, and performance standards
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a manufacturing facility
  • Ability to handle samples and testing materials throughout the shift
  • Ability to perform detailed inspection and testing tasks
  • Ability to work safely in a laboratory and production environment

What You Will Do

As a Quality Assurance Technician you will inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. You will use precision measuring equipment, document inspection results, identify nonconforming materials, support corrective actions, and help maintain quality records while promoting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

A Quality Assurance Technician helps organizations produce reliable products by verifying dimensions, workmanship, and compliance with quality requirements. This role requires technical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to consistently apply inspection standards.

The Quality Assurance Technician uses measuring instruments, inspection procedures, and quality documentation to evaluate products throughout manufacturing while maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
