Job Duties:

• Assist the public with recycling and disposal questions
• Open and close assigned recycling centers on time
• Clean attendant buildings, parking lots, and common areas
• Remove trash and clean around compactors
• Operate weed trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers
• Assist patrons with disabilities with garbage and recyclables
• Support truck drivers during garbage and recycling pickups
• Work independently at lower-volume centers

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to all 11 county recycling centers
• Availability to work most Saturdays
• Ability to work independently and interact professionally with the public
• Comfortable performing outdoor cleaning and grounds-maintenance work
• Steel-toe boots required and provided by the employee
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Availability for occasional Wednesday meetings
• Flexibility to accept additional hours when available
