Pay Rate: Pay Rate: $23.00 – $35.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Requirements

  • At least four years of precision inspection experience in a CNC or machine-shop environment
  • Strong knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques
  • Proficiency with GD&T under ASME Y14.5
  • Ability to interpret complex drawings and tight tolerances
  • Experience with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, indicators, and optical comparators
  • Accurate and thorough documentation skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Reliable attendance and self-motivated work ethic
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, and bend throughout the shift
  • Steel-toed shoes and warehouse attire required

Job Duties

  • Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections
  • Inspect precision-machined components
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
  • Operate dimensional inspection equipment
  • Prepare AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports
  • Balloon drawings and complete characteristic accountability
  • Coordinate customer and government source inspections
  • Present parts for final buyoff
  • Document inspection results accurately
  • Work with machinists and programmers to identify issues early
  • Maintain inspection-tool control
  • Monitor gauge-calibration status
  • Support continuous quality improvement

What You Will Do

As a Quality Assurance Inspector you will inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. You will use precision measuring equipment, document inspection results, identify nonconforming materials, support corrective actions, and help maintain quality records while promoting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
