Location: Muncie, IN
Pay Rate: $16.50 – $17.50 per hour
Available Shifts

  • 1st shift 7 am-3:30 pm
  • 2nd shift 3 pm-11:30 pm
  • 3rd shift 11 pm-7:30 am

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety instructions
  • Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
Experience Requirements
  • Assembly experience preferred but not required
  • Manufacturing or production experience is a plus
  • Ability to work overtime on short notice
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Willingness to learn multiple workstations and job functions
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Job Duties
  • Assemble automotive components according to production specifications
  • Rotate between assembly stations as needed
  • Operate tools and power equipment safely
  • Assist with machine start-ups, machine resets, and troubleshooting activities
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet customer requirements
  • Support daily production schedules and efficiency goals
  • Assist with 6S activities, scrap reduction, dock sorting, and production improvements
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

As a Production Assembly Associate you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.

A Production Assembly Associate supports production by assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured components into completed products. This role combines technical ability with craftsmanship, organization, and attention to detail.
