Now hiring for a Cooperage Repair Specialist
Location: Shepherdsville, KY
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule:  Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3 PM

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work with hand tools
Experience Requirements
  • Entry-level position – no experience required
  • Individual training provided
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus
Job Duties
  • Load and unload empty distillery barrels
  • Remove worn or damaged barrel bands
  • Install and secure new barrel bands
  • Repair barrels to quality standards
  • Use hand tools, including a 4-pound hammer, to complete repairs
  • Inspect barrels for damage and identify needed repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

As a Cooperage Repair Specialist you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
