Requirements

  • At least two years of food-production or industrial-cleaning experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience working with tools
  • Basic knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery
  • Ability to safely dismantle and reassemble equipment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and turn throughout a 10-hour shift
  • Ability to lift and stack materials weighing 10–50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work around automated machinery and industrial ovens
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation
  • Ability to complete required records accurately
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
  • Commitment to following all food-safety and workplace-safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Dismantle bakery machinery and production equipment
  • Wash and sanitize equipment components thoroughly
  • Reassemble equipment correctly after cleaning
  • Prevent cross-contamination by following established sanitation procedures
  • Sweep and pressure-wash production floors
  • Clean spills and remove crumbs, waste, and other debris
  • Empty waste receptacles
  • Lift, move, and stack boxes, ingredients, or waste materials
  • Complete sanitation documentation and required log sheets
  • Verify that assigned cleaning tasks meet company standards
  • Report equipment, sanitation, and hygiene concerns immediately
  • Follow all safety, EEO, sanitation, and operational guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and food-safe production environment

What You Will Do

As a Sanitor you will clean and maintain assigned work areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, emptying waste containers, restocking supplies, and performing routine facility upkeep. You will help maintain safe, organized, and sanitary environments while following established cleaning procedures and workplace safety standards.
